Renovation of a historic building, guided by respect for its original character. Existing cement tiles are preserved, original colors recover, and spaces reorganized to create a ptivate house and architecture studio. A careful study of tones, made with natural lime-based paints, informed the palette, while a new fireplace is designed as a quiet, contemporary presence within the restored context.
